Description by I/O Architects

The home is situated on a hill within the highest nook of a village amid an agricultural space in Northeast Bulgaria.

The location of the undertaking is distinguished each by its panoramic views and distant visibility. So as to strengthen them, part of this system is situated within the seemingly blind bastion-like quantity and the dwelling space is elevated excessive on it. This brings view completion as much as 360 diploma and privateness within the absolutely opened area above. The pitched roof connects geometrically the higher quantity with the bottom and provides complexity within the inside area whereas the outsized eaves join it to the little meadow round and exaggerate the hovering impact of the slim metallic construction. The proportion and the materiality of the strong base give it the looks of an infrastructural object that outline the sting of the village and conceal the formidable program of the home. The one perforation results in the cave like area of the doorway corridor / storage. The materiality of the inside areas is dominated by native species wooden cladding, which balances the roughness of the complete construction and its environment.
