Located within the very coronary heart of Warsaw, Poland, this eclectic 603 sq ft condo was designed by Klara Wesół of KW Studio.
Description by KW Studio This personal condominium with a floor of 56m2 (603ft2) is situated within the very coronary heart of Warsaw, the Powiśle district. The challenge envisaged an entire renovation of an previous flat located on the A storey of a modernist residential constructing from the 1930’s. The works comprised alternative of all installations and flooring in addition to the refurbishment and reconfiguration of rooms. The previous kitchen was redesigned and become a toilet, which was changed by a closet. The condominium gained an open-plan dwelling space thanks to ripping down a wall separating the anteroom and the lounge and broadening the area between the lounge and the bed room. The two chambers have been related by O meter excessive picket folding doorways. The house’s dominant color is white. Floor mosaic within the anteroom and toilet make a deliberate reference to a pre-conflict flooring design attribute for Warsaw. The wooden flooring made from whitewashed oak has a standard sample. The most important ornamental factor here’s a brick wall, from which the plasterwork and a number of other layers of paint have been eliminated. The furnishings and decorative parts mirror the proprietor’s ardour for journey. The partitions are adorned with Polish posters type the 70’s and eighty’s whereas the rooms function ethnic particulars from everywhere in the world – Moroccan carpets and pillows, Iranian seat cushions, Argentinean kilims and Georgian soumaks.
